Post subject: Hey.
We got to the immigration office and explained that the piece of paper says that I have to leave Canada on October 3, 09.
The guy had an attitude at first until I told him that I had a permanent resident application in process. He asked for ID and typed things into the computer and said that my file was progressing very well.
He said that he does not think that my permanent residence will be ready before the work visa and temporary resident permit expire. He advised me to wait another month and then apply for the renewals.
If nothing, at least I know my file is progressing well.
I have so little faith in the system that I doubt everything.
Lord have mercy...

ReplyDeleteYes, I hope I can stay too but I have reached a point where I so want to see my daughter's grave. Would be good if I saw it and came back to convenience.
