Posted: Thu Dec 24, 2009 7:44 pm Tokes...I NEVER left Canada on October 3, 09...PHEW!

Hallelujah indeed!

Thanks Tokes for responding to my good news even when you are bed ridden. Yeah, it is just dawning to me that the end was nearing. My husband pleaded with them in a letter in my application for the immigration worker to reconsider the decision stating that I had to leave Canada on October 3, 09.

I hang in there for three months...basically just doing my thing. I had a lot of help and support. The people supporting me did not know the whole situation. Now I feel that a weight has been lifted. I started applying and working on this working visa thing 5 years ago. This has been the longest renewal wait so far. Probably because the last visa was the only one I had seen with a condition...but that is over now.

Now waiting for the Permanent Resident Permit...hopefully I get it before this work visa expires. I have to get the work visa in the mail to see exactly what it says and what conditions are on it...

Thanks again for your support and thanks to the forums for giving me a chance to channel my sorrows and fears. Otherwise I would go mad...

Yes I met your lovely wife. She is very caring for you and she explained to me the surgery...OMG and how many times before they messed with you...Geez...

You were at the club? In that condition? You can send a caregiver you know...OMG Tokes!

I can imagine many things and one of them is working HERE without a work visa...every blue uniformed person would be intimidating, every stranger, cop cars, I wouldn't do it. Would you?

Please get well fast.

All the best. Say hey your lady, I forgot her name. So much was going on. She's pretty...

I just want to crawl somewhere tonight and crawl out on January 2, 2010. I was like this even in Kenya. No Christmas Spirit...

Glad to be alive through it all and no physical pain. No madness either, mind is not racing. Grateful...
