I am very happy I married for love - good Lord have mercy. This would have been a frustrating journey. I did go to immigration after we got married (2005) to let them know and they said we could not do a spousal application because, and specifically because I had AIDs. I had to live for 3 years as a temporal resident - and then apply again for permanent residence. My citizenship application is progressing well. I am so glad I did not put my life on hold for immigration. By the time I get my citizenship, I should be almost done my University Education Diploma. Amen. .
